Pork Chop Sandwich seasoned with Dr. Bacon O.G. Spice Rub

DR. BACON GRIDDLE FIRED PORK CHOP SANDWICH

Procedure: Dr. Bacon Pork Chop Sandwich

Necessary Supplies and Instruments

  • Center Cut Pork Chop (1/2” thick, Boneless)
  • Dr. Bacon O.G. Spice Rub
  • Brioche Bun
  • Spicy Brown Mustard
  • Sliced dill pickles (can sub out fried pickles in inclined for a more indulgent sandwich)
  • Griddle or Cast-Iron Skillet
  • Cooking Oil
  • Sharp Knife
  • Large Cutting Board

Official Procedure

Apply liberal coating of Dr. Bacon O.G. Spice Rub to both sides of pork chop (2-24 hours in advance)

Fire up griddle and set to medium/ high (350°)  with light oil.

Cook pork chop on one side for 3-4 mins.

Flip and cover with steam/ basting cover to cook for 4 mins.

Remove once the chops hit 145° internal temp and let rest for 3-5 minutes.

Prep bun with a nice coating of spicy brown mustard.

Dress with dill pickle slices or deep-fried pickle slices.

Add pork chop and enjoy the deliciously spicy pork chop sandwich.
