
DR. BACON MASHED POTATO QUESADILLA
Perfect for the holidays, this deliciously creamy and flavorful quesadilla pleases the palate any time of day or night. And what's better than mashed potatoes, cheese and bacon?
Necessary Supplies and Instruments
- Mashed Potatoes
- Bacon Seasoned and Cooked Bacon (sliced into 1/2” pieces)
- Your Favorite Quesadilla Shredded Cheese Blend
- Flour Tortillas
- Green Onions/ Scallions
- Griddle or Cast Iron Skillet
- Butter
- Sharp Knife
- Large Cutting Board
Official Procedure
Spread mashed potatoes onto tortillas.
Add bacon and sliced green onions on top.
Cover with cheese blend.
Press both tortillas together.
Place in lightly buttered pan.
Cook on medium heat until both sides are golden brown and the cheese has melted.
Remove from pan or griddle and let sit for five minutes before cutting with pizza cutter or knife.
Garnish with small scallion slices.
Enjoy with your favorite dipping sauces, gravy or salsa.
